I have never really photographed newborn kids before, but after getting to know a bit more about the family I was quite intrigued. I was mostly interested because I knew these set of photos will mean a lot to the family- it will serve as a medium to go back in time when the kid grows up.
I do not have kids of my own but I am not too fond of the fact that today’s parents rely on their phones to take photos of their kids and never print them. Personally, I cherish the photos taken by my father during my childhood years.
With Leyla and her family, I quite enjoyed the experience of making some images that could hopefully stay in their family album.
The photos were taken using my trusted Sony A7R2(Amazon / Adorama) paired with 85mm f/1.4GM Lens(Amazon/ Adorama), Leica M-240(Amazon/Adorama) with the Zeiss Biogon 35mm f/2(Amazon/Adorama) and Nikon Df(Amazon/Adorama) paired with 58mm f/1.4G(Amazon/Adorama).
